Unstable frosty weather in Azerbaijan will last until the end of January, it will be accompanied by snowfall at times.
The National Hydrometeorology Department under the Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry reported that the weather will get colder on the night of January 27-28, strong winds and heavy snow expected in Baku and Absheron Peninsula. The air minimum temperature will be -1- -5 C. The roads will be frozen. The temperature will be -5--7 C at night, 0--2 C in the daytime.
On the night of January 28-29, heavy snowfall is forecasted in the Azerbaijani regions. The roads will be frozen.
On Jan.28, it will snow in Baku and Absheron peninsula, the speed of the north-west wind will be 15-20 m/s, sometimes 23-28 m/s, snowstorm is forecasted. The temperature will be -1- -5 C at night and in the daytime. The roads will be frozen.
Snow is expected in the country’s regions on Jan.28. There will be heavy snowfall mostly in the mountainous areas. The temperature will be -3- -8 C at night, 0- -3 C in the daytime. The roads will be frozen.
On Jan.29, it will snow less in Baku and Absheron. Mild north-west wind will blow. The temperature will be -1- -5 C at night and in the daytime. The snowfall will stop in the afternoon in the country’s region on Jan.29. West wind will blow. The temperature will be -4- -9 C at night, 0- -4 C in the daytime. The roads will be frozen.
